Support » Plugin: Background Manager » SSL support for background-image urls?

I’m having a problem with this plugin – I’m moving a wordpress installation to https, but the pages that use background manager show up as only partially encrypted.
It appears that the URL to the image files is being hardcoded somewhere as an absolute URL over plain http (even if the http site is offline and I’m selecting the image on https) which is what’s causing the problem.

Is there a workaround/fix for this?

    Hi,

Background Manager fully supports SSL, however relies on the correct configuration of WordPress. This also applies to other scripts WordPress may load.

Access the WordPress Admin area, select the Settings tab in the left-hand sidebar, and then General. Both the WordPress URL and Site Address URL will need to start with https://.

    Hope this helps.

Thank you for your quick reply.

That worked for your plugin, though now I have a whole bunch more ssl problems unrelated to background manager.

There is a helper plugin available, called WordPress HTTPS created by Mvied (see http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-https/). Perhaps this will help address some of the other SSL problems you’re experiencing.
