Support » Plugin: CalPress Calendar » SSL problems with JqueryTools.org

  • Can you please provide the option for defining our own local server path to load jquery.tools.min.js? Presently when using this on a secure site that has a verified certificate we are seeing errors like:

    Failed to load resource: The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be “cdn.jquerytools.org” which could put your confidential information at risk.

    If we could simply load this from our own server it would ameliorate this problem where the script will not load.

  • Any thoughts on this vs hacking the plugin?

    Hello,

    in the root folder is file calpress.php where is defined constant CALP_PATH
    It is pretty simple to make replacing from http to https here:

    define( ‘CALP_URL’, dirname( __FILE__ ) );
    if(isset($_SERVER[‘HTTPS’])){
    if ($_SERVER[“HTTPS”] == “on”) {
    define( ‘CALP_URL’, str_replace(‘http’, ‘https’, CALP_URL) );;
    }
    }

    and all images, css, javascripts will have https url when if https is enabled
