# SSL problem with emtpy install

 * Good night,
 * We planned to migrate our webhosting to a different webhost, but when we enabled
   the SSL certificate on the new webhost, WordPress doesn’t load certain files.
   When I change the links to https in the database it ends up in a redirect loop.
 * So we decided to start smaller. Apparenly even a completely clean 4.0 WordPress
   doesn’t load the http links.
 * When I redirect to https via a .htaccess file it ends up in a redirect loop as
   well.
 * Does somebody recognize this issue?

 * Managed to fix it with a HTTPS plugin, but still problems when I set the website
   to [https://&#8230](https://&#8230);
