# SSL problem

 * Ouch… I just finished getting SSL issued and installed and downloaded SSL for
   wordpress (main plugin with 220k+ downloads) and clicked top 2 options and it
   seemed to be running ok. However, I then clicked “Remove elments inaccessible
   over HTTPS and now I can’t login.
 * I have a plugin that changes the login url and when I go to that url is goes 
   to the login sceeen but when I attempt to login on http or https both of them
   show the 404 page instead of logging in.
 * Did I permanently break my site? How can I uninstall this plugin and/or deactivate
   and log back into my site?
 * For the record my site is still up and running, I just can’t seem to login as
   admin to wordpress.

 * Nevermind… for anyone who has this issue – you can login to your FTP account 
   and go to wp-content folder–>plugins and change the SPECIFIC plugin folder name(
   changing the SPECIFIC plugin’s folder name automatically deactivates that SPECIFIC
   plugin (in this case wordpress HTTPS)) from here you can login, delete plugin
   or change settings and fix problem.
 * What I found works is to make sure you find the port # of your host and disable
   any plugins that don’t work with wordpress HTTPS (I believe this is why it wasn’t
   working for me). I disabled the plugin that was redirecting my admin login page
   and the entire site is now being redirected to https.
