SSL on Media Library

Hi I run a multisite with the same child-theme and it is funny in the main site the media library is on SSL but not in the subsite. I am sure there is a htaccess tweak or a php function I can add to fix it? I already have
define(‘FORCE_SSL_ADMIN’, true); and force_ssl_content( $force );
