SSL Issues on dev and production

    I did digg through all the articles here and tried to find out how to solve this SSL errors when trying to connect to wordpress.com with my self hosted site

    Your website needs to be publicly accessible to use Jetpack: site_inaccessible
    Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site https://…-bla.com [IXR -32300: transport error: http_request_failed SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate]

    It’s a wildcard subdomain certificate I’m using.
    GlobalSign give the SSL on the Site a C grade.
