    Thanks for the update. This is the code that we use to identify whether the server is running via HTTPS or not:

    	define( 'WP_RW__HTTPS',
    		// Checks if CloudFlare's HTTPS (Flexible SSL support)
    		( isset( $_SERVER['HTTP_X_FORWARDED_PROTO'] ) && 'https' === strtolower( $_SERVER['HTTP_X_FORWARDED_PROTO'] ) ) ||
    		// Check if HTTPS request.
    		( isset( $_SERVER['HTTPS'] ) && 'on' == $_SERVER['HTTPS'] ) ||
    		( isset( $_SERVER['SERVER_PORT'] ) && 443 == $_SERVER['SERVER_PORT'] )

    If this logic doesn’t recognize your HTTPS it means that something in your server isn’t configured correctly. WordPress uses similar logic, so it might cause further issues with other plugins as well. What is your hosting company?
