 * Only if you are using one of the on-site payment gateway options. This is not
   needed for PayPal Express, PayPal Standard or 2CO.

 * I am using Stripe, which requires a SSL. I have SSL set up on my main domain 
   but not on my sub-domain.

 * If you have sub-domains that need SSL protection you may need a “wildcard” SSL.
