 * Guess this might be considered a dumb question but I’m assuming everyone has
   installed an SSL certificate at their Woo checkout page. I’m assuming this is
   a must before proceeding with this plug in.

 * Hi Ishan or anyone with the answer,
 * SSL being optional for this plugin. Does this mean that the plugin encrypts the
   information which I find odd or are you are allowing people the option to send
   their transaction information in the clear?
 * Thanks

 * The plugin is posting (sending) the data from the customer browser directly to
   an a https (SSL) location at Authorize.net. The raw credit card data is never
   sent to (or stored in) this plugin, WooCommerce or WordPress.
 * So, for the confidence of your buyer you might want to install a secure certificate,
   but it isn’t necessary and there is no security issue if you don’t.
 * I have 20+ years of doing this kind of conversion (among many other things) from
   non-SSL to SSL enabled web sites, including WordPress sites. It isn’t always
   straightforward. If you find that customers demand your checkout page be SSL
   enabled, then you may be forced to do it even though it isn’t necessary.
 * If you find that making the SSL jump is more complicated than you want to get
   into, please [contact me](http://WebSpaceOutlet.com).
