 * Hello,
 * I have exported an XML file from Squarespace 6, and I am trying to import it 
   into WordPress.
 * It starts to import but eventually times out. It is only 1.8MB.
 * Have you had any problems related to this? Any idea of how to fix it?

 * it is possible that you’re running out of memory. can you break your exports 
   up into smaller chunks (on Squarespace) then import them in smaller batches?
 * if not can you post the last few lines of your server apache error log it might
   help.

 * I have used an XML splitter to make them as small as 1MB, but it won’t make them
   any smaller. Still doesn’t work.
 * I get through the part where it asks if I want to import the user or assign to
   a current user. and I check the box to import all media and files. Then it starts,
   and just stays at that point.
 * I have retried again, and it has been 1 1/2 hours and the browser is still “working”
   but no progress.
