# Square Tile galleries as default?

 * I love the checkbox option for “Display all your gallery pictures in a cool mosaic”
   but I’m wondering if there’s a way to make that default to square tiles as opposed
   to the regular tiled layout? Thanks!

 * Hi!
 * When you insert a gallery, you can choose which layout you want, including the
   Square Tiles, if you have the Tiled Gallery module activated. What you want is
   to modify the default gallery type to be Square Tiles rather than the Mosaic,
   correct?
 * One way of doing it is by editing the plugin files itself:

 * You can change “rectangular” to “square”. You’d have to change it back every 
   time you update Jetpack, however.

 * Yup, it works perfectly! I also tried “circle” and that works as well.
