Hey there, @sandyc1115! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.
Thank you for being a loyal user, we are here to help you solve this 🙂
after multiple woo updates, the square option doesn’t even show up!
Do you mind clarifying this for us?
When you say it does not show up, do you mean on the plugin page, on the payment settings on the dashboard or on the checkout page?
Can you please share a screenshot of what you see on WooCommerce > Settings > Payments?
If you can see the option, also please share a screenshot of what you see on WooCommerce > Settings > Square. Please blur/remove sensitive information from it before posting it here.
I recommend using https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.
Furthermore, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:
System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. Then you can use the selector to search for Fatal Errors.
You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.
Looking forward to your reply.
Have a wonderful day!
I mean the sqyare option did not show on check out page, at all, like invisible! I have since uninstalled square plug in cause I needed to take payment! So, no screen shot to show you. I’m currently using woo payments, but would love to go back to square
Hello @sandyc1115,
Thank you for clarifying this.
This could be due to a possible conflict with another plugin or the theme you are using. Would you mind running a conflict test to rule out the conflicts?
o test, you’ll first want to change the theme on your site to Storefront, then check to see if the issue is still present. If that resolves the issue, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have an update or fix for you.
If changing the theme doesn’t help, you’ll want to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and Square and take a look. If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one (gradually), checking after each, to see where the issue is coming from.
Considering your situation, I would recommend you create a staging site that is a replica of your live site. You can then safely perform tests and debug without affecting your live site. You can ask your host if they offer this service, or you can use WP Staging to quickly spin up a new test site.
I hope that helps! Let us know once you have done a conflict test!
