# Square meters please

 * I’ve seen the other thread that discussed this same issue ([http://wordpress.org/support/topic/changing-defaults-1](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/changing-defaults-1))
   and [@agentevolution](https://wordpress.org/support/users/agentevolution/) said
   there’s no way to do this but revise the plugin, which he won’t recommend, because
   it will get re-written by future updates.
 * But I’m desperate. I need to use square meters instead of square feet, I don’t
   mind if I don’t get to update the plugin for a while.
 * Can [@agentevolution](https://wordpress.org/support/users/agentevolution/) (or
   anyone!) please answer how to do this step-by-step:
 * “Create a translation (generally used for alternate languages) that will change
   the field labels to what you need. The included /languages/wp_listings.pot will
   get you started.”
