    Ok so I build a new WordPress site and I want to store data from the site in a database running SQL Web 2012. How in the world would I get that done? This is for a project that I am working on for school where I need to use a cloud server running Windows Server 2012 with SQL Web 2012. I though building a website would be a good option. Thanks for your help.

    WordPress is designed specifically to be used with MySQL. MySQL can be used on a Windows Server:

    Ok thanks, and is there any documentation on how to get WordPress to store data in the MySQL database?

    WordPress uses specific PHP and SQL commands and scripts to access and write to the db. Here is a basic tutorial:
