 * Hi,
 * Just want to check if Yoast uses wpseo at all? We have Yoast and are currently
   doing a tidy up of our SQL to improve site performance. Is wpseo_titles and wpseo
   to do with yourselves at all? Or do you use these in any part? Just because there
   is conflicting information between plugintests and migrating from wpseo to Yoast.

 * Hey [@oriver](https://wordpress.org/support/users/oriver/),
 * Thank you for reaching out.
 * Yes, some of our meta keys are prefixed with wpseo and/or _yoast_wpseo short
   for our original plugin name, which was WordPress SEO.
 * They are still used by our plugin to set meta keys in the postmeta table for
   example, so I’d recommend **not** to delete them while using the plugin, only
   if you want to completely remove Yoast from your site.
 * Hope this helps.

 * Thank you, I think a couple of Wpseo rows might have been deleted by mistake.
   Everything on Yoast still works. But if we deactivate, delete and reinstall,
   would this bring back any missing rows? And would we still keep all the information
   entered into yoast, such as meta descriptions if we did this?

 * Hey [@oriver](https://wordpress.org/support/users/oriver/),
 * Thank you for your reply.
 * By reinstalling Yoast SEO (the plugin), you won’t lose any database data. But
   it wouldn’t bring back missing rows you deleted either. So if you are missing
   previously-stored data like custom meta titles or descriptions, you’ll have to
   enter them again.
 * Hope this helps.

 * Hi [@jeroenrotty](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jeroenrotty/)
 * That’s great, I don’t think we deleted anything and can’t see anything missing
   at all. Just a safety precaution. Thank you for your help
