# SQL Connection Problem

 * Hi, I have tried to install wordpress, I have php and apache running on my windows
   2008 server. I have setup a SQL database called LUXBAY with a user created, but
   when I try to install wordpress, It cannot configure the wordpress wpconfigure.
   php file. I have connected to the SQL Database using a program called heidi, 
   but still had no luck installing wordpress. I would like to install wordpress
   locally on my network with the sql server. Does anyone know what I might be doing
   wrong? entering the wrong creditionals or something, have checked firewall and
   things to, but still no luck.

   to the database?

 * Im c=kinda confused here, what does wordpress need a remote login? what permissions
   should I set? thankyou for your hep. I can connect to the server using heidi 
   via direct tcp/ip does a wordpress server check the install, whats it doing to
   create the config.php ?

 * Oh oops im sorry I was trying to setup wordpress with a Microsoft SQL Server 
   lol and I see it only uses MySQL gnu free lol, sorry,
