The Premium Extension for Zip Backup is installed and I can see that the SQL backup files have been created on the site, but no .zip file is being created on DropBox. The sub-folder “wpd2d” has been created under “Apps” on DropBox, but no folder has been created for “nameofmywebsite.” Any ideas?

Zip was definitely not working on the server.

After googling around and chatting with DreamHost (hosting), discovered that zip function is not supported by default in php5.2 so moved to php5.3 and now it works. Yipeee!!
