    Thank you Caroline for such a beautiful theme!
    I'm having a great time customizing it, but now i feel stuck.

    I'm trying to show the site description in the header section of the site leaderyou.it

    I found the "<h2 class="site-description">your description</h2>" in the original header.php file, but the description was not showing until I changed the .site-description class display to block in the child style.css

    Now i see the site description in the header, but also in the homepage (div_id=content).

    I follwed the steps found here and here trying to remove the description element from the homepage, without any result.

    I've also searched for other occurrences of .site-escription class in the templates' files, but again, no results.

    Can you give any help?

    I am also interested in this. I had the old version of the theme which I found code to do this, and added it to the child theme I created, but some of the code has gone missing when I made changes.

    Watching with interest!

    The Spun support topics are tracked here: http://wordpress.org/support/theme/spun - and it doesn't really matter how far down a topic is in that list, as long as it's not on the 20th page.

    I finally figured it out... this is what worked for me:

    I left the code for the tagline in the header.php file but removed it from Main Index Template.php (index.php)

    Remove this from Main Index Template.php

    <?php if ( is_home() && ! is_paged() ) : ?>
    <h2 class="site-description"><?php bloginfo( 'description' ); ?></h2>
    <?php endif; ?>

    Hope this helps if you need help with this let me know,
