 * Hi,
 * Just wondering if you will implement functionality for the Spotify Play Button
   in the future?
 * Cheers,
    Jarno

 * I definitely am. Do you have any specific suggestions on what you need or you
   would just like the ability to link to a song and have it lazy-load?

 * Hi,
 * Awesome!
 * Yes, that is what I am looking for, the most basic functionality. The Spotify
   Play Button, is handy for us music bloggers but it does add a lot to the page
   load if there’s several buttons on one page.
 * It would be great if I could use the Spotify function manually, so that I don’t
   have to use all social bookmark functions.

 * Two questions while I am implementing this feature:
 * 1. Would this be on a per post basis? For example, if you are writing a blog
   post on a great new song, would you need a meta box that asks you for a link
   to spotify? That way the individual song would appear with that blog post(or
   custom post type)?
 * 2. Would this be better served as a different plugin? It seems to me that you
   don’t really want any of the other social features of WPsocialite, just the lazy
   loading feature for spotify, is that correct?
 * If number two is correct I may just wrap a new plugin all together. That helps
   you to make sure the plugin does only what you want, and it doesn’t bloat the
   WPSocialite codebase.
 * Appreciate your feedback!

 * Hi Tom,
 * Yes it would be on blog post basis. I don’t know if a meta box or shortcode would
   be better. I think shortcode, because that makes it easier to place the Play
   Button exactly where I want it to be.
 * Maybe the functionality would be that all one needs to do is to write
    [socialspot
   =SpotifyURI] in a post to render the Play Button.
 * At the moment I don’t use the other social features so that is the main reason.
   Might be best to separate the plugins so that it doesn’t get bloated as you say.
 * Thank you for taking your time!

 * Egar,
 * I’ll get working on a solution. Hang tight! I’ll try to have something no later
   than the end of the week.

 * Egar,
 * I’m coming close to a finished product. A few questions for you:
 * Would you like to specify the spotify URL in a meta box or within the shortcode,
   along these lines:
 * [spotify_lazy url=”[http://open.spotify.com/track/7LImTa7vwDT3dDFBzq5wfw”%5D](http://open.spotify.com/track/7LImTa7vwDT3dDFBzq5wfw”%5D)
 * Do you have multiple tracks within the same post, or one track associated to
   one post?
 * Do you have a need for playlists or just songs for now?
 * Thanks for the feedback.

 * Hi Tom,
 * That sounds great!
 * I would prefer using a shortcode so that I can place it where ever I want inside
   the post.
 * I usually use only one track in each post. At this time I only have a need for
   songs.
 * Tell me if you need any help with testing!
 * Cheers,
    Jarno
