Hi Maxim!
I’m glad I could help! The main difference is for the inner workings, when you have team vs team you have one more hierarchy, for example:
A competition can have a lot of teams ; Each team can have a lot of players and the players stats may not interfere with the team results directly (for example in soccer an user could get 10 yellow cards and it wouldn’t affect the match outcome directly).
If you’ve got players vs players then a competition will have players and they will play the role of the teams, so there is no hierarchy beneath them.

I dont know but may be you can help me with that. I making a site for Russian players so I can’t use standard Rookie-theme fonts because theme can’t understand cyrillic well. Can you tell me where I can change fonts? I want to use Google Font, but cant even find a right file for inserting the link.

For that the easiest way would be using a Google Fonts plugin. Once you’ve installed it we can help you applying a different font for your page’s sections.
