Hello, I’ve watched all the videos and read all the documentation but before I purchase PRO version, I am looking for some help and hopefully they are very easy solutions. We are a small Discord community of gamers playing several different games and we wanted to purchase the agency license to be able to do anything but unfortunately we can’t achieve that due to some limitations.

What we want to achieve is the ability for each user to be able to set their own event/tournament and manage it unless inviting someone to help. Based on the user capabilities, granting all users the player role and changing the player role to let them all create private events would be a good solution but we need someone with more hands on experience to tell us if its possible with minimal amount of customization.

Generally we’re looking for a player role that allows each player to set their own private event, a staff role to let players invite additional help and a event manager role that would generally overlook all events if needed from an admin level to keep the website clean and running.

Is it possible to use all SportsPress elements on custom made Elementor pages?

We would also like to emphasize on Twitch streams so players have them on their pages as well as showing live streams on respective events.

Any and all help is appreciated.

    Hi p4trk!

    I’m sorry for the delay.

If you need any help with the Pro version or if you have presales questions, please refer to this channel:
    support.themeboy.com/

Now I’m going to reply to this one within the current features we have for SportsPress (free).

You can use SportsPress to manage the sports side of your portal, but in order to have these user interactions and user-managed content (with many locks), you will need some custom code or a membership plugin.

We do have some roles you could use, but they don’t have the exact capabilities you need for your project:

You can use our plugin along with Elementor, sure. We have shortcodes that you could add in it.

    Thanks!

Thank you for the reply Roch,

So looking at the roles and capabilities, can’t I just remove the player role, change the event manager name to player and change the capabilities to make it so that they can all create private events? Wouldn’t that solve the problem?

    Thanks in advance!

Is it possible to have all type of data input via front-end and not via WordPress back-end?

    Hi there!

    Thanks for your reply.

“Is it possible to have all type of data input via front-end and not via WordPress back-end? ”
Unfortunately no. We have frontend scores submission for Pro customers, but even that won’t be a substitute of all SP management tools (such as creating events, tournaments, settings and so on).

“So looking at the roles and capabilities, can’t I just remove the player role, change the event manager name to player and change the capabilities to make it so that they can all create private events? Wouldn’t that solve the problem?”
Sure, that might work. But since this requires custom coding/changes in how SP works we don’t have any guidelines on how to do it.

    Thanks!
