Split mixed order into two (physical and downloadable products)

    Is it possible, with or without plugin, to split an order into two if it contains products that have to be delivered physically as well as digital downloadable products ?

    If so, the orders will be easier to handle for those responsible for shipping, as the downloadable ones can automatically be marked as completed (delivered).

    Also related, in the order confirmation email to the shop owner, is it possible to have a direct link there to mark the order as completed ?

    Hi there,

    I’m not aware of a plugin capable of splitting the order in two if there are virtual/downloadable and regular products in it.

    Adding a direct link to the order page to the new order notification email that is sent to the shop owner would also require some custom coding.

    I’m going to leave it open for a bit to see if anyone is able to help you out with the code.
