# Split Loop not working in 2.1

 * My blog (www.aptcoot.com) uses a split loop to allow one post to be displayed
   in a center column with other posts running in a second side column separate 
   from my sidebar. This is accomplished by splitting the loop and assigning posts
   in one specific category to the center spot with posts in any other category 
   running in the right side column.
 * My problem is when I upgraded to 2.1 it no longer ran any content in the right
   side column. (I’ve since gone back to 2.0.7, but I’d like to take advantage of
   some of the new features in 2.1.) The column showed up with its background color
   and border, but did not have any content.
 * I’m guessing I need to rewrite the way the code calls for the loop a second time
   to fill the right side column, but I don’t know how to go about fixing this.
 * Any help/advice much appreciated.
