Splash page plugin recommendations

    Hi. Need a plugin that creates a full-screen splash page greeting for a website. Needs to be customize-able (image and text and text formatting), appear whenever site is visited and should not befuddle search engines. WP Splashpage seems to have all this, but it white-screen-o-deaths my 4.4.1 site.

    Any recommendations? Or is there a workaround I am unaware of?
