Support » Plugin: Contact Form 7 » spinning wheel plugin conflict WINNER OF THE WEEK

  • And this week’s prize for plugin which is causing spinning wheel to spin forever is….

    drumroll please

    FLAMINGO!!!

Yep, you read that right. Contact Form 7 recommended, user tested, and rarely bested FLAMINGO is absolutely preventing spinning wheel from stopping, success message from appearing.

Turning the plugin on and off clearly turns the behavior on and off. All other plugins activated and working. emails are sent. other messages (error,..) working.

Almost killed myself trying to spot it. Last place I would have looked.

Anyway temporarily can live without it. I do hope it can be fixed soon. Will contact developer.

    Key piece of information:
May be happening only in OPERA and SAFARI only, and only if logged out.

    Opera reports the following error:
POST http:[my link] 500 (Internal Server Error)
    which links to file jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:4

  • I can confirm Flamingo working fine in correspondance with CF7 in Moz & Chrome.

Yes, I know it seems to be working in Moz and Chrome. But we also have users who use other browsers and the forms need to work for them. WE have multiple sites and are concerned that the problem has existed for some time but only now was reported to us by a friendly user. Others may have given up…So far no answer on the Flamingo side.
