This is usually a tell-tale sign that the Donation Confirmation page is being cached.
Although the Donation Confirmation page is not visibly used through the donation process using the multi-step form, it is still used in the background process.
Make sure the page is excluded from any and all cache.
I would also recommend you don’t minify GiveWP javascript files using the SG Optimizer plugin. We have seen that minifying the files can sometimes cause unexpected behavior during the donation process.
I’ve excluded the page, the plugin, etc from cache. I’ve deactivated the cache plugin all together. And I am still getting the spinning wheel. I had already set up the javascript file not to be minified through SG Optimizer as recommended on the web. So we’re still having this issue and we have a huge event next week where we need this form working. Please help.

If you are still facing this issue, please send us a URL where we can see the issue happening and we can test it. Also, send clear and detailed steps about how to replicate the issue, so we can investigate it.

Did you get this sorted? I’m having the same issue after the submission. Donation comes through, but the user doesn’t see the thank you message or the receipt on screen, just the spinning wheel. No cache plugins or caching on server or CDNs.

I would very much appreciate seeing other options on this. We followed all the notes from GiveWP https://givewp.com/documentation/core/frequent-troubleshooting-issues/admin-ajax-blocked/ – we have checked that nothing is caching, followed everything in the link provided, and still see the spinner.
It is after making the donation that we have the issue, as indicated by GURUGEHK and hard to provide a link to the final outcome…
