Spinning ball no confirmation

    When using Stripe to check out with a credit card; After clicking ‘place order’ a grey ball spins for 5-10 minutes then an error with no explanation is returned. Just an exclamation mark.

    The user believes the order has failed but it has in fact been processed. The funds go to stripe and a new order in generated in the admin area. But the user sees nothing. It appears the confirmation page is not being reached.

    Stripe say all is OK their end and the issue is with this plug-in.

    Can you help please?
