Spinner keeps on loading

    Hello,

    I have an issue with the form on my site.
    When I click on the submit button :
    – I all mandatory fields are not filled, then I have an error message : correct behavior
    – Once everything is ok, I click on the submit button and the spinner starts spinning and never stops. The form is sent, both sender and receiver receive correct information, but the person who submitted the form doesn’t know that and may think nothing happened.

    I noticed this error message in the console : The response is not a valid JSON response

    I tried on the development site : I deleted all the fields and kept only one field. At the beginning I thought that one of the fields was incorrect so i wanted to discover which one was wrong. I deleted one by one and at the end only one field was left. It’s a standard mandatory text field. Even with this only field, the problem remains.

    Any idea of what it could be ?

    hi,
    i guess my problem is similar: i use jetpack crm with the integrated cf7 plugin. when i fill out a form with my credentials plus e.g. a message text for the first time, the form works ok. when i fill out the form with same credentials but a different message text, the spinner appears and never stops, and the form is not submitted.

    i already contacted jetpack crm which tested the form on my staging site – with all unnecessary plugins turned off and switching to twenty twenty-one theme but the problem stays.
    wordpress, crm and cf7 are on the latest version, php version is 8

    i found out that in my case the switch from php 8 to php 7.4 made the problem disappear. still, it would be nice if the form would soon also work with php 8!
