# Speeding Up Editor

 * Is there a way to speed up the post editor?
 * It seems like with every update, a bit more javascript gets added and auto-updating
   and spell-checking whatnot and if I’m on a slow connection, t-h-e–t-y-p-i-n-g–
   i-s–l-i-k-e–t-h-i-s.
 * Is there a way to shut off all the AJAX and auto-everything so it just works 
   like a dumb TEXTAREA?

 * Have you tried deactivating all plugins and switch to the Twenty Eleven theme?
 * Do that just as a troubleshooting step. After you’ve done that clear your browser
   cache and see if the slowness is still there.
