Speed Up but CSS & JS rendering degraded

    I rated this plugin 5 stars and I believe it deserves it. But I need help. It seems to be messing up the layout and js query on my site. I use Themeforest’s VideoTouch theme. When Abovethefold is activated, (1) video carousel stops displaying as carousel but rather as individual videos stacked over another and (2) Othe video iframes simply do not load at all!! Pagespeed.pro can you go in an check please? I can give you admin access whenever you are ready. Thanks

    BTW: The problem appears to be limited only to mobile. On desktop layout css and framed video loading is fine. After I disabled “Optimize Javascript Loading” in the ABovetheFold plugin mobile is loading fine but of course speed is now not as good. I need help please.

    12 hours and still no response from pagespeed.pro. Time to revisit my review of this plugin.

    Thank you for your review and for taking the time to report the problem.

    It is important to know that the plugin is a toolkit for optimization, it is not a plugin that ‘delivers’ a result. It is always required to configure and fine-tune the plugin correctly before a result can be measured.

    Regarding the issues you are experiencing. The issue could be related to a script that has async compatibility issues. More information can be found in the documentation for making Google AdSense async compatible:

    In a similar support topic from 6 days ago it was discovered that the issue may be related to inline scripts that depend on javascript files to be loaded in the header, that failed when the javascript files are loaded asynchronously (“Optimize Javascript Loading”).

    To solve the problem it would be sufficient to install a minification plugin such as Autoptimize and include inline scripts in the minification.

    I hope that this information is helpful to resolve the issues and to achieve a stable Google PageSpeed 100 score!

    Hello Jan. I always had Autoptimize – long before I added Abovethefold. I am more than willing to pay to get this working. I am not looking for 100 score – just to get in the green belt is good enough for me. If you have a minute to take a look to help check settings for both plugin I can email you admin info. I am willing to pay for the time and effort.
