Every time I check again speed drastically changes for worse! sometime little better.

regarding the pagespeed scores; the overall score doesn’t help, will need to see detailed comparison I’m afraid. A URL will also help 🙂

regarding appearance -> customize; AO isn’t active there actually, so this is likely due to something else?

I don’t know customize using in the website doesn’t work anymore after used this plugin but in that way appearance -> customize it is normal.

I deactivated another plugin (query monitor) that I believe wasn’t work well after I installed this and it was true now my customize work again on the web page.

But score still lower than was.

OK, having a look, hang on 😉

OK, did a number of tests with and without autoptimize (without can be triggered by adding ?ao_noptimize=1 to the URL) and in both cases results are fluctuating a lot and the most important warning in both cases is “reduce server response time”. now normally I’d advise you to install a page cache plugin, but looking at some technical details I think your hoster provides caching functionality which does not seem to be functioning (technically; the HTTP response header almost talways contains X-Cache-Hit: MISS).

    So;
*¨talk to your hoster (mention the x-cache-hit:miss) and ask if/ how their caching can be improved OR install a page caching plugin
    * consider switching to the soon-to-be-released AO 2.2 which has a number of significant improvements which might also help limit the damage
    * lastly you could look into the “inline all CSS” (easy) or “inline & defer CSS”-options in AO to fix the render-blocking CSS-warning. there’s more info in AO’s FAQ on those.

    hope this helps,
    frank

    Thank you very much.

I will try to check all of them.

    I didn’t get his 3 option:

1-select “inline and defer CSS” – OK

2-paste the block of “above the fold CSS” in the input field (text area) – Where I can find this block and which test area I don’t see any?

P.S. on the phone completely stop now it was normal before this plugin.

    Thanks

    maybe have a look at this video @engenheirouva;

it might make things more clear 🙂

    Thanks.

But at his example, he didn’t the optimize before and I did, so in my case, I have 2 CSS already optimize.

Can I do with this first CSS file?

    (@futtta)

I would use the first one, the second one is very short.

    Thanks again.

But for me it didn’t work well I am checking results at Page Speed from google it is not accurate in my case since it changes from 30 to 94 everytime I reload, so I guess it is not reliable for I check if it makes my site faster.

And I checking as well at GTMetrix.com which gives me always the exactly same result even after I do the above fold it gave me the same result as before. Not changes at all in speed or nothing.

Now my site is load weird, so I guess since it doesn’t bring any speed result is better I give up on the above fold method.

I believe the problem must be what you said about the cache I didn’t get any feedback for my hoster yet but I did see many people complain about it on the forums and no solution so far.

I will keep trying solve it with my hoster than I let you know the result.

    Thank you very much.

above the fold will not change your page’s total real performance (measured in seconds), but should improve the start rendering time (and the “finish rendering of above the fold content”, but that is not measured anywhere I think).

your main problem indeed is your hoster’s page caching. you could try installing a page caching plugin (wp super cache, hyper cache, comet cache, keycdn cache enabler, …)?

    Thread Starter Frogger

    (@engenheirouva)

Cache plugins are not enabled for my site. I believe is because of the hosting.
I have tried some of them. They say aren’t allowed in my system.

But one thing that really slows down my site was jetpack plugin I still think if I should keep it.
