• Hi Gabe,

After the last update all of my pages were incredibly slow and server consumed more memory than usual.
I disabled Asset CleanUp Pro and my site is decently fast now.
I am running off of Cloudflare, so they still serve cached copies, but on my admin computer I bypass Cloudflare so I have an idea on what is happening.

Can you please help with this?

    Thanks,

    Dorian

I think I found the problem. It was some sort of conflict with ShortPixel Adaptive Images.
I deactivated it ShortPixel Adaptive Images and now it’s fast.

@dbodnariuc thank you for reporting a potential conflict between the plugins! Have you noticed anything in particular (e.g. errors in the console) that you would like to let us know? The more information you can provide, the better as it would be faster in releasing a patch that would fix any incompatibility.

I don’t have error display enabled on WordPress, and there was no message in the console.
I discovered the conflict accidentally, while troubleshooting some image displaying errors. I turned off ShortPixel Adaptive Images and that fixed my image displaying issues, and then this got me thinking that the problem was with ShortPixel Adaptive Images all along. Thus reenabled Asset CleanUp Pro and all is good.
To be honest, I GeneratePress has support for adaptive images, so I don’t need to worry too much about the disabled plugin.
