    Hi guys,

    I’m having trouble sending a transactional mail via Mailchimp after users purchase a certain product. It does work when the user signs up for the newsletter on checkout, but it won’t even send the email from Mailchimp when the user decides to not join for the newsletter at checkout in the store.

    Is it possible to send a Follow Up On Purchases automated Ecommerce email to someone who bought a product, but did not join the newsletter (a ‘Non-subscribed Contact’)?

    Summary:

    • ✓ Connecting my store works
    • ✓ Syncing products works
    • ✓ Order notifications work
    • ✗ Follow up on specific product only works when the user subscribes to the newsletter on check-out. I’d like to use the automated functionality also when users decide to not want to receive the newsletter.
