 * Hi, I’ve been at WordPress all day and I waned to know if there is a way to show
   all the sub-categories in a category on my side bar.
 * So it would be wp-list-cats specific category.
 * So if this is my cat structure:
 * Site
    – About – Information – Contact
 * Codes
    – PHP – Action Script – ASP
 * how could I go about doing this.
 * An example of this is [here](http://blog.arsthanea.com/).
 * Thanks for your time.
 * Simon

 * You have subcategories in place already? And you want them to show in your list?
   Is this all you need or is there something more and I am missing it?

 * I want to be able to post all the Categories in the Sub category.
 * so if I had like 7 categories with 10 sub cats in them so 70 in total and I only
   wanted to show the 10 categories from the 1st group.
 * So I have categories ‘Site’, ‘Coding’ and ‘Meta’ say, and inside them are many
   sub categories, and I only want to show the categories from the ‘Coding’ category.
   Is there a way of doing this instead of just posting all the categories?
 * Thanks.

 * You can have several calls to your category lists, so you could use the exclude/
   include functions as you need to gain the desired result.
 * For instance, the following would call any categories other than 1 and 2. [Add
   as many categories excludes as required]
 * `<?php wp_list_categories('exclude=1,2&title_li='); ?>`
 * You could tehn creatthis againand again as needed, excluding whichever categories
   you do not wish to show in that particular list.
