Special Script for Short Stories

    I am trying WP solely for publishing short stories that users can comment on.

    I heard there is a special “script” especially designed to do just this.

    Can anyone tell me what/where I can find this (or if it is true?)

    What is the difference between a normal, regular blog entry (aka post) and a short story? Just trying to understand the logic of the question…

    Oh, I see. Well, users can upload a short story and I publish it to the site under a series of genres.

    No, it doesn’t.
    You don’t “upload” anything in a WordPress installation. You write. And “users” (depending on their level) can submit a post for review. You or another admin can approve it for publishing. After you will get more familiar with the tool (=WP) you are using…

    I see, but I would need something that requires “admin approval” before posting otherwise maniacs will be posting links to porn sites all day long and not short stories. Agreed?

    No, not agreed. It’s just ignorance.
    Read the documentation and experiment with your installation before making assumptions.

    Thanks, but I speak from experience with other aspects of my website.

    I’ll figure it out in the end and decide if it does what I need.
