 * Hi, I’m using File-Away plugin.
 * I moved it from a sever to another one, and now the frame is missing the special
   characters like “á”, “é”, “í”, “ó” and “ú”.

 * Some servers handle special charaters, some dont. Depends on your server encoding.
   I reccomend using a language pack keyboard for special characters, rather than
   utf8 encoded characters.

 * Hi,
 * I got exactly the same issue as described above. I think that ALL servers manage
   special characters but, as you mentioned, they may be configured differently (
   UTF-8, ISO 8859-1, etc.). It is not easy to know which is the configuration of
   the server, but there should have a way to understand what is expected by the
   plug-in. I typically have a server with many files. I configured manually the
   FTP software to display correctly the special characters. The typically working
   encoding are “windows-1252” or “ISO 8859-1”. But displaying the same files on
   File Ways shows me strange characters. Finally, I discovered that if I configure
   the FTP to send file names in UTF-8 on the server, then File Away is displaying
   them correctly. For me, this is coherent as the whole WordPress encoding is UTF-
   8 (<meta charset=”UTF-8″>). Maybe there are some other possible configurations.
   But I would recommend to send files on the server using UTF-8 encoding if it
   doesn’t work with usual Windows character set.
 * Regards.
