I was thrilled to find your plugin for data collection and storage, but unfortunately had to suspend its use due to the special character restrictions. I understand the purpose, but even curly apostrophes aren’t accepted. For our use, people would be copying and pasting text, and curly apostrophes are quite common. I thought you would want to know in case there’s an option to change that.

    Hi smthomasSIA

Thank you for bringing up your issue. I will make a customized version for you so you can use it for your purpose:) It is just the matter of tweaking a little part of the code.

Please contact me via my email address which you can find it on the very bottom of the “Welcome” page of your installed plugin (it’s a gray box on your admin dashboard). So I can send you back the customized version.

If you’re not comfortable with contacting me by email and getting a customized version for your own, then you can wait until I release the next version. Most probably I will release the next version within a week.

If you had any questions or concerns, you are always welcome to get in touch:)

    Cheers,
    Ghazale

That would be great, Ghazale! I will email you separately, but thought I should add if curly quotes are also a problem (I didn’t test for that), that might be a good thing to allow. Also, dashes (en and em) are fairly common for folks who would be filling out the form for me. So it those could be allowed as well, I’d be thrilled and happy to make a donation.

I will make all those changes for you, no problem at all;)
Thank you so much for using this plugin and bringing up your concerns. If you needed any further changes or anything else, I’m always here to help:)
