    Hey,

I changed the options of the dropdownlist you need to choose from if you fill in the petition (in emailpetition.php) but after that i can’t login to my wordpress site anymore. I already changed it back to the original options but now is still displaying the options I entered before.

I’m receiving the following errors when I try to login:

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/zuidelijkerondweg.nl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/speakout/includes/emailpetition.php:1) in /home/zuidelijkerondweg.nl/public_html/wp-login.php on line 447

Can you please help me resolving this issue?

Your help would be really appreciated.

    Kind regards

What is likely happening is that your change has caused a PHP error to be thrown. The site is trying to display headers after they have already been displayed. This is a no no.

If you go into your hosting file manager e.g. in cPanel, and navigate to public_html then wp-content then plugins you will see a directory named speakout. Rename it to something like speakout.old and I think you will get in.

You will then have to reinstall SpeakOut! and you shouldn’t lose your petition.

If you want help adjusting the drop down get back to me.

    Hey,

I tried renaming the speakout-directory but that didn’t work. Can you tell me where the signatures of the petitions are stored on the server?

I really need to access the signatures. After that I am going to reinstall WP from a back-up.

Your help would be really appreciated.

    Kind regards

Have you considered editing the emailpetition.php file and restoring it to its original contents?

You can find the code here: https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/speakout/trunk/includes/emailpetition.php

    Sorry for the delay.

The signatures are in the database table dk_speakout_signatures.
