 * I just did an update and now this plugin has given me an error and my site is
   down. This is the error I am getting.
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘
   in /home/justine/public_html/wp-content/plugins/responsive-menu/src/app/Routing/
   WpRouting.php on line 16

 * Hi guys,
 * Please read the FAQ, Changelog and description notes carefully.
 * Also read the other support requests regarding this.
 * You need PHP 5.4+ on your server so please speak to your host about upgrading
   as this is unsupported and unsecure now.
 * All the best

 * Um i cannot access my admin any more after updating, how can i either roll back
   or disable this plugin? please advise.
 * On a side not, you should put a warning before upgrading, not bury it in an FAQ.
 * Like a lot of folks, i am on shared hosting and dont really have control over
   what version of php is running.
 * Please tell me how i can roll this back to the previous version so i can get
   back into my site.

 * Hi there,
 * Please let me know where else I can put the notice? I’ve put it everywhere I
   can. Also the plugin should auto-deactivate if you dont have the required PHP
   version so Im not sure why thats not the case for you.
 * There is no way of warning users of incompatible PHP versions in the upgrade
   process so I have put it everywhere else I possibly can. If WordPress had this
   option I certainly wouldve used it.
 * If you don’t have PHP 5.4, that must mean you are on, at best, PHP 5.3 which
   was released in 2009 and PHP themselves dropped support in 2014 which means it
   is now insecure and vunerable (and has been for 2 years) so I can’t continue
   supporting it I’m afraid.
 * To roll back simply delete it from the plugin folder via FTP and then you can
   download the last 2.8 version from the Developer tab above.
 * I hope that helps.

 * Thanks, I rolled back to an earlier version for the moment. The clients site
   is working fine again. [http://www.learcomm.ca](http://www.learcomm.ca)

 * Hey mmushing,
 * I would take the opportunity to upgrade your PHP if you can as it is no longer
   supported or secure.
 * Either way Im glad you got it working again.

 * Thanks yes the hosting company says they will do this update tonight but I think
   my client is going to switch to a more reliable host. 🙂
