spammy and scammy

The moment I activated this, I received an email from them. Somehow they took my email address without my permission and started emailing me! To make it worse, I head over to their dashboard and they had my name as well! How on earth does this meet privacy requirements?? Worse still… its a free trial. Even worse than that, I wasn’t able to delete the online account that was auto created when I clicked activate. WP need to take serious look at this because if plugin authors are going to run background code to grab details without permission is a very serious issue. How do I know if my email address is going to be sold to other spammers??
