Spam – same email

    Hello,
    How do I prevent a specific user – email address – from joining the list?
    I have a hidden recaptcha enabled and I’ve deleted the user manually three times already.
    They are intent on signing with a generic or random string.

    One possibility is that you set up your form to not accept registrations from the same email twice (this is in the plugin settings under the signup form tab) and then set up a record (that is never displayed) in your database with that email address so they can’t register or access the record with that email.

    This isn’t really a practical solution for someone determined to spam your registration form, however. Because it’s an actual person, there is unfortunately little you can do to stop it other than set up an “approval” process where new registrations are not displayed until approved.

    Thank you for your quick response. I have ‘unapproved’ the entry so it doesn’t show. If this person uses another email alias to register, I’ll have to set up the approval process as suggested.
