Spam Registrations

    Hi,

    I am getting a large number of spam registrations through Facebook login. My anti spam plugin is not effective for these registrations.

    Is there any advice for this? Sorry if this has been asked before, I did search but could not find anything.

    Hi @confusedneedhelp!

    Do you see some pattern on these spam registrations or what rules would you think, that could help figuring out whether a registration on your website with a Facebook login is spam or not? Maybe are you seeing these registrations to happen without an actual Facebook user connected to them?

    Thanks for the quick reply. I noticed lots of undelivered mail alerts. When I check the details it is clear that the email addresses are spam. So I am getting many emails being undelivered. It is a forum site and these accounts occasionally try to post spam although I have this covered through another plugin. However, I would like to try and stop them from registering in the first place.

    The spam registrations happened via the regular WordPress login, not via Nextend Social Login.
