Spam! Really Simple Captcha?

What is everyone doing with this plugin to stop spam?
On busier sites, this plugin’s form is getting a tonne of spam with no captcha option.

Has anyone successfully added a simple captcha?

I was really hoping this would have came in the last release that just came out.
