SPAM!!! HELP!!!

    Hi! I recently made my blog site at the beginning of this year and I keep getting spam from a guy whose name is supposedly RobertVob…In the beginning, he sent only one email..using my contact page, but the message was in Icelandic.. using google translated, I figured out the message and sent a reply to his Gmail account. But after that, he kept messaging me with different languages and Gmail accounts asking the same question..”Hi/Hello, I wanted to know your price” By now he sent more than 450 questions…and my best guess is a bot is after this, but why my blog which just started? It is getting annoying, I can’t see any actual messages I get and I have no idea how to stop it. Can anyone help?

    Are these being mailed directly to you, sent through a contact form on your site, or posted as comments on your site?

    If these are coming through your site, *and are using the same IP address*, you could block that IP using any number of plugins, though I’d use WordFence for that.

    As for stuff coming through mail or other services, you’d have to block those emails/messages through your provider.
