 * Lately, a whole lot of spam is getting through to my comments. This is a new 
   phenomenon, and I would like to know why it is happening and how to stop it. 
   Until now Akismet has worked like a dream.

 * Best bet would be to mark them as spam. That way Akismet learns.

 * Also use Spam Karma or Bad Behavior in conjunction with Akismet.

 * Bad Behavior is a must in conjunction with either of the other 2 or both.

 * I’ve never used Akismet, but have always used Spam Karma and Bad Behavior together,
   and I’ve had almost zero issues with spam.
