Spam comments still being posted with Disqus, How?

    How come I keep getting the comment spam on my wordpress blog with Disqus installed? the spam comments show up in my dashboard for the regular wordpress comments. I have Disqus installed and I don’t understand how these spam comments are being posted to my blog? They do not show up in the Disqus control panel?
