# Spam Comments

 * Hello. Some guys keep commenting on one of my posts every day even though I haven’t
   approved any of them. I can’t spend time doing this every day. I use the Wordfence
   plugin.
 * 01. Is there any way to block them without using a specific Spam-Comments plugin?
   If not, what are the best ones?
 * 02. Will those spam comments impact my site even though I don’t approve them?

 * Sadly, spam is something that’s an uphill battle. I personally use Askimet as
   well to fight spam comments even more.

 * Why don’t you install an anti-spam plugin? It will help relieve you of this problem.

   Akismet is one option. There’s another one I like:
