Hey Ryan!
I’m also having trouble. I’ve used this plugin in the past with great success, but used it on my personal site (http://www.jasonober.com/) since Dec 2019 and have gotten absolutely flooded with spam through my contact form.
I’m happy to send you any emails I got as examples, but wondering if I’ve maybe set something up incorrectly…?
I had the honeypot name as “website” as recommended. I re-checked the documentation and re-watched Roseapple Media’s video, and I’m pretty sure I had it set up correctly.
I just deleted the old honeypot item and changed the name to “website-place” because I need to stem the bleeding and hoping this helps, but thought you’d like to know something’s going on.
How else could I help figure this out? I’d love to avoid putting a CAPTCHA on my form. =)
Thank you!
Jason
Personnaly, i have removed my field, and added a new one, it works well now.

Hey @jason-nocowardcom – I’ve also found that routinely changing the name of the Honeypot field helps stop bots that have adapted. If “website” doesn’t work as a keyword, maybe try “email”.
As @himself’s problem is resolved, I’m going to close this, but @jason-nocowardcom if you continue to have trouble, please feel free to open a new support topic.
