I have a similar issue, but no exactly the same. In my case the city is correctly filled but the state field gets emptied, even if it was filled before by Woocommerce Geolocation API.

I found the solution (to my problem at least). In the JS file (lines 101 & 297) spanish woocommerce stores need the same condition as GB stores (the select field use the short version of the state as value)
@squaredpx, thank you for your help pointing to a possible solution. That solution in there was more of a temporary. I assumed there were more countries like that, but I didn’t know which ones. I just tried that change and now when I search an address in Spain, in populate (in my example) Madrid for both the City and the State. Is that correct? Let me know.
@natekinkead, yes, that’s correct. In that case city and state is the same. You can try this address to check an example with different city and state results: “Calle Castelar, Santander, Spain” and that should return “Santander” as city and “Cantabria” as state. Thanks for your quick reply.
