Hi Laurie! I had a look at your site, but didn’t see Jetpack’s Top Posts Widget in your sidebar. Are you still using this widget? If so, could you provide me with a link to a page that contains it? Then I’d be happy to take a look!
Thank you Ryan – here’s the blog that I’m using Jetpack’s Top Posts Widget. The spacing is really squishy, making it difficult to see each blog post separately:

Is there a way to create space or even a light border between each post?
Thanks again,
Laurie
Ryan – please ignore my last reply; I stopped using JetPack Top on that blog because it’s one of my more popular blogs, and I really don’t like the squishy look of the Top Posts.
So I have JetPack Top Posts on this blog:

Can you tell me how to create space in the list of posts, so it doesn’t look so scrunched together?
Thank you for all the work you do!

Hi Laurie, thanks for the link! The appearance of the widget is determined by your theme. You can modify its appearance with custom CSS, under Appearance > Edit CSS.
Using some of the styles from another one of your widgets, I put together this CSS snippet which you can use to add some spacing between elements and a small gray border between list items:
.widget_top-posts ul li {
padding: 10px 0;
border-bottom: 1px solid #e4e4e4;
}
Please let me know how that works for you!
That worked absolutely perfectly, thank you so much Ryan! I really appreciate it. 🙂
